It was 2021 when a team of professionals with years of experience, expertise, and a love for their craft, brought a long-cherished project to life: the first OQUO wheels saw the light of day.
Two years later, in June 2023, after extensive lab and fieldwork, we launched our first road models.
Just a few weeks later Cedrine Kerbaol powered her brand-new OQUOs to the top of the leaderboard in the white jersey classification of the Tour de France, day after day until the final stage.
One year later, now in 2024, everyone who witnessed the sixth stage of the Tour clenched their fists, covered their eyes, and gripped their seats as Cedrine once again launched into a daring descent in the final kilometers of that glorious stage. But she knew exactly what she was doing—no one takes a risk like that without trusting in their equipment. Cedrine had complete confidence in her OQUO wheels, which held her steady on the road and in the lead.
Ceratizit-WNT, her team, has been instrumental in the development of OQUO wheels from the very beginning. The German team was the first to test them on the most demanding courses: the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix, the rugged Strade Bianche, and the challenging routes of Flanders—all passed the test.
Since then, Laboral Kutxa and Lotto Dstny have joined Ceratizit in our journey, leading us to race two Tours with just one year on the road. Standing out in the Tour de France is a medal of dedication for OQUO and also an extraordinary challenge. The wide variety of terrain in the French tour has been the ultimate test for our wheels.
The OQUO range includes three models to meet very different demands: the RP57, an ultra-aerodynamic wheel; the RP45, offering the ideal blend of weight and aerodynamics; and the RP35, the lightest, delivering maximum performance on the most challenging climbs.
