LIFETIME WARRANTY

When the legal warranty period has expired, OQUO offers a lifetime warranty* under the conditions set out below.

COVERAGE

In addition to the Legal Warranty, OQUO offers all its users an OQUO Lifetime Warranty, which is voluntary and free of charge, and consists of a lifetime warranty, with no time limits, on all rims of the specified models*.

Under this OQUO Lifetime Warranty, the purchaser shall be entitled to the repair and/or replacement of the affected product in the event of a defect such as a broken or cracked rim.

CONDITIONS

This warranty shall only apply to the original purchaser of the product who has filled in the wheel online registration form within 30 days of purchasing the product**. Therefore, this warranty shall not be transferable to any subsequent purchaser of the materials covered by this warranty who is not the original purchaser. If a claim is made under this warranty, the user must provide OQUO or the distributor with a copy of the purchase document of the bicycle or wheel (sales invoice).

The warranty shall not under any circumstances apply to breakages or cracks resulting from negligent use of the bicycle, from fitting non-original accessories other than those supplied or fitted by the factory, or from improper handling and maintenance operations by the user or by any third party on behalf of the user.

The user shall maintain the purchased product in good working order in accordance with the instructions and recommendations provided in the instruction booklet for the wheel and/or manuals published on the OQUO website, and OQUO may reject warranty claims that are directly due to a defect in the maintenance of the product by the user.

Due to the inherent danger of using a bicycle, whether on the road or in the mountains, and the physical risks involved in its use, this warranty only covers the replacement of components affected, and shall not under any circumstances cover any personal injury that may result directly or indirectly from the failure of such components during use. In the event of a traffic accident, regardless of the direct cause of the accident, OQUO's warranty is completely void.

PROCESS

In order to request coverage by this warranty, the user must go to the point of sale where the product was purchased, in order to process the claim from that distributor. If it is not possible to go to this distributor, or if it is too burdensome for the user, they may go to the official OQUO distributor nearest to their home to process it, or contact OQUO directly, and you will receive the corresponding instructions for processing this warranty. If a claim is made under this warranty, the user must provide OQUO or the distributor with a copy of the purchase document of the bicycle or wheel (sales invoice).

If it is not possible to repair the component, OQUO will replace the non-conforming product with another of similar characteristics. If it is not possible to do so under these terms, OQUO may choose to provide the user with another product of equal quality and performance or, at the discretion of OQUO, offer a discount to the user on a new purchase for an amount proportional to the residual value of the non-conforming product. This residual value will be calculated by applying an annual depreciation of 6% on the original retail price of the non-conforming product from the year of its use in the range. In the case of products customized with the MyO program, OQUO may replace them with similar products in the colors of the current range if the original customization is not possible.

If the rim is replaced by another product of equal quality and performance, this warranty shall not in any way cover the replacement of any component installed on the original bicycle that is not compatible with the product delivered by OQUO, and the cost of any type of part, spare part, accessory and/or component that is required to fit it shall be borne by the user.

If it is necessary to send the product to OQUO's facilities, OQUO will cover the costs of such transportation, provided that the warranty is processed with the same distributor from which the product was purchased. OQUO reserves the right to claim the costs of such transportation and the return of the product from the user if the user decides to process the warranty with a distributor other than the one from which the product was purchased, or if the warranty does not apply to the claim made by the user.

In addition, the user shall, in any event, pay the amount of the labor required to dismantle and reassemble the rim to be repaired or replaced.

This warranty is subject to the decision reached by our technicians regarding the nature of the non-conformity of the product after examining it.

*Only applies to road and MTB LTD and TEAM rim models from the 2025 range or later, purchased after 05/09/2024, and exclusively in the following EU countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain (mainland and Balearic Islands, excluding the Canary Islands and Ceuta and Melilla), France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Slovakia.

**Wheels purchased separately, those purchased as part of a bicycle, and those provided as replacements under warranty must be registered separately and under the same conditions described above in order for them to be covered by the Oquo Lifetime Warranty.
